Anarchy to Monarchy

Earlier to the arrival of different types of bureaucracies and government systems in this world the world was divided into kingdoms which were ruled by different individual leaders. The ruler could either be a king or a queen. Different names were attributed to this ruler in different parts of the world. Every ruler was succeeded by his/her heir to the throne. It used to be a family affair of who would rule the kingdom and it was considered as the right that’s received in the blood directly from the God. In fact, the Monarch was considered as equivalent to the God. Such provinces which had a single ruler called as a Monarch ruling his subjects were known to follow the monarchy system of governance. Democracy or communism was not heard of in those days. Irrespective of whether the Monarch was good or bad everything in the state happened as per his orders and regulations. He was solely responsible for keeping up the well-being of his society. In case of battles or wars or unexpected death of the Monarch the next heir used to take the throne to make sure that there is always an authority that is ruling over the kingdom. In case of those situations when there would be no heir to take the Monarch’s position and the existing Monarch was dead there aroused the situation of Anarchy. Anarchy is a state of disorder due to absence or non-recognition of authority or other controlling systems. As there was no single authority to take care of social harmony or justice evil people used to take advantage of such situations and loot the others. The neighbouring Monarchs saw this as the right time to launch their attack on the civilians and destroy the kingdom to conquer it. Absence of Monarchy used to give rise to such an Anarchy that would eventually destroy the existing civilization itself.

A leader is one who leads oneself and others just follow him. Running a kingdom or a state or a province or a country requires a leader to run it. If the leader is so mighty to be a Monarch to run an entire empire successfully well, then, definitely he must be planning and managing his time perfectly well in order to take care of every aspect of the kingdom really well. Not all of us might be such Monarchs to rule an entire state but each one of us is a Monarch of our own lives. We might not have the insurmountable responsibilities of running a big kingdom consisting of thousands of people and numerous challenges to deal with but each one of us have our own self to take care of. A Monarch might plan the expansion of his kingdom while each one of us needs to plan the growth of our education and career. A Monarch might plan projects to improve the lives of his subjects while we need to plan on how to increase our knowledge and wisdom and develop our skills and talents. A Monarch might plan on how to train his army to defend the country against external attacks and for launching war campaigns while we need to train ourselves both mentally and physically for self-defense and to face unexpected challenges. A Monarch might get busy planning the annual grand festival of his kingdom to entertain his people while each one of us also need to plan on how we would celebrate the special occasions of our lives.

With anarchy in place none of the above-mentioned things can happen in the kingdom. It’s a state of disorder where anything can happen and there is no one to stop the injustice caused to anyone. People suffer as they have no authority to go and seek help from. There is no punishment for criminals as there is no law and order system controller at all. Same shall become the case in our lives when we lose the authority over the time in our life. Losing authority over time means when we are unsure about what we are doing and its deadline. This is the state of Anarchy in our lives. You can find a lot of people around you living such lives. They are either moving through their work slowly or are spending away time as nothing is assigned to them or because they have finished their previous assignment. There are many such individuals who don’t plan what to do next. They just follow a routine of life of waking up in the morning, going to study place or work place because it has got fixed timings and passing time through the day with ongoing processes just waiting for the day to end and reach back their beds to sleep. Such people just wander through life as they don’t affix any goals for their lives. They have dreams but never make an action plan to achieve them within a prescribed time. Such people have differentiation between busy and free time. Their description of free time is the time when they don’t have any work. Only a person who hasn’t set high aspirations in life can get such free time. These are the facets of anarchy that result in a mediocre lifestyle which is not mediocre just in terms of money but mediocre in terms of zeal, happiness, fame, success and all other positive aspects of life.

If you have gone through or even felt any of the states spoken above then it’s time to make the shift from Anarchy to Monarchy. You have to bring back the ruler in you who shall decide the priorities of your life, plan your days, weeks, months and years, gather back your strengths and talents and make you work hard to achieve your goals and targets. Everyone has a Monarch inside them. The more respect you adore him with the better he shall plan and manage your time and help you lead a successful life. You should follow his orders once he has charted out the plan irrespective of what state of mind you’re in. If you disobey his plan he shall subside from his position automatically and Anarchy sets in your life and we better know the sad state of Anarchy in our lives. You become what you plan to become. You can plan voluntarily when you give the reigns of your life in the hands of the Monarch inside you else the environment around you has the capacity to make you feel that you are right by going as per the plan set by it which might not be what you want in your life. If you plan your next one year of life with complete clarity then you are on your way to achieve what you have planned in a year of time. If you have planned the next one month then you know what you are set on for next month. If you have planned next one week then you’re clear about what to do in next 7 days. If you have at least planned for next one day then the Monarch is alive in you for next 24 hours to make sure that you use those hours rightly well. Your plan-span determines the lifespan of the Monarch in you. The kingdom is in under proper governance as long as the Monarch is on the throne. Likewise your life is under your control as long as you know what to do next in the prescribed amount of time. So, plan your time in your life so well that Anarchy shall never surface and Monarchy shall always rule your life towards glory.

Every problem has a solution

Life is a wonderful journey for those who are ready to see it unfold and be prepared to receive the shocks and surprises that it might throw. For some, life becomes drudgery because what they expected and what life gifted them were in opposite poles. No one decides what one needs to get out of life. It's a culmination of lot of factors that moulds the life the way it unfolds. Things that we can have control on seem easier than those on which we don't have any control. Such uncontrollable circumstances take the name of problems. Every problem has a solution just like how every lock is made with a key. Problem is a problem until we discover the solution for it. The best part is- everyone has equal rights to discover the solution of any problem troubling this world.

Once a person is born on this earth, no matter how hard he tries, he cannot escape the clutches of the earthy life until his time to leave the world arrives. Until then he has to pass his time on this planet. When we have no option to escape life, let's enjoy life. There is no point in sitting and moaning about things happening around us. You have the rights to cherish the good moments of life. Likewise you have the responsibility to combat the sad moments of life. While good moments make your heart go light, the tough moments should make you tough to face the challenges of life. Nothing comes easy here; you have to earn it, my friend! For those who doubt whether they will be able to earn what they desire to, here is the simple single philosophy which can empower you to believe in everything that you wish should come true. Every problem has a solution; you just need to discover it. You cannot say which solution will, for sure, solve the problem but you can be sure that when you hit the right solution the problem shall vanish. To make it happen you need to have a firm belief on God and thyself. You have to believe in yourself that you are going to be the problem-solver. Only then will your mind open up to search for solutions. Mind is one of those wonderful creations of God fit in a human body that can solve the unimaginable mysteries of this beautiful planet. Use it well and believe in your efforts which shall go on to solve the problem. What you dream is your right and no one has the rights to snatch it away from you.

There are a lot of people out there who will create problems. There are a lot out there who will complain about problems. There are plenty of those who will only see the problems and run away from them accepting defeat. None of these three categories of people take any action to solve anything. The remaining is the fourth set of people like you and me who should become the torch-bearers for the rest of them around us. We should carry the light of solutions to all the problems that hit us. Not to forget the most important lesson during the tough times of life - "Every problem has a solution".

Don’t waste time; don’t wait time

Time is one of the most precious treasures of life that’s blessed upon every human being without any partiality. Irrespective of caste or creed, colour or décor, rich or poor, ugly or beautiful, each and every one is gifted with 24 solid hours of time every day. It’s up to us as to how we make use of these 1440 minutes every day. Wasting time is like wasting away our life itself. Hence we should try our best to utilize our time in the most efficient time. There are many articles online that can teach us as to how we must not waste our free time and what all we can do during that time to develop ourselves. In this write-up I would like to share about how we waste time in the name of waiting for someone or something.

When we have an appointment with a doctor we go to the clinic and see a huge queue waiting for the same. We end up sitting on one of those benches either dozing off in the same place or listening to the music being played or put on our earphones and listen to songs from our ipod or go through the magazines/newspapers kept for engaging the waiting patients. At the max, we try to communicate with the other patients as to what are their ailments, what all did they do before coming to the doctor, judgment on whether the doctor is good or not and other past health issues of families. Chatting at least makes us feel that we are networking and utilizing our time. Similar things can be observed in bus stands where people are waiting for the buses for unending amount of time some times. We plan get-togethers with our friends and we keep waiting for some of those laggards. While we are waiting for people we just end up wasting our own time. This time waste is at least clearly visible if we can use our brain a bit. Think about those situations when you postponed some of your action plans because you were waiting for some decisions by people, for some rule to change in the management, for some person to sign your document or so on. We ended up waiting for something to happen and eventually all our results got delayed.

Waiting is literally wastage of time folks! Unfortunately not every time can we anticipate whether we will have to wait or not. Many of the times we cannot even assume for how much of time we will have to wait. Precaution is better than cure. So, we must take simple steps that can accommodate the time of waiting and in turn help us utilize the same time. One of the simplest ways is by carrying a book to study wherever you are going. You would have chosen a book which you would have studied if you were at home for sure. So your waiting time becomes your study time. Carrying a simple book in which you can write can help you revise the stuff that you have studied earlier by writing while you are waiting. It might serve as your planning record for your further action plans. Being in the technological age, our smartphones can serve the same purpose. But they might also provide multiple diversions at the same time. If you are clear with your to-do list, then definitely your smartphone itself can be your notebook.

It’s up to you as to how you will convert your waiting time into efficient time. Don’t spend time in waiting; invest it in using the same for some creative purpose. When what we want to do in our day to day life is very clear we will pick up every chance to utilize every minute of the day in the best way possible. It’s your time and your life at the end of the day. No matter how much you blame on any person or situation, who or which made you wait you cannot get back the time that’s lost in waiting. Hence it’s your freedom and duty to take care of your treasure of life named TIME.

The lawnmower is coming

I observed in one of these huge gardens that the gardener was tightening the bolt of his lawnmower and getting it ready for work. He cleaned the blades and started to run the lawnmower over the grass. Those tiny heads of some of these grasses which were overshooting the heights of their neighbours were chipped off and they followed the Law of Equality (at least in terms of height). As the process continued I observed that the grass strands were bending in the direction in which the lawnmower was rolled. The moment the same lawnmower hit the grass in the opposite direction, all these strands bent in the opposite way. The lawnmower was the decision maker on which direction should the grass strands bend.

The billions of people running around in their daily lives are very much similar to these grass strands. The governments or perhaps, the people forming the governments are the lawnmowers, who can make the people follow the direction that they show. The law might switch through several amendments, wherein the second amendment might just be the undo of the first one. Nonetheless people got to follow it and work as per the existing law. Coming to the plane where many folks of our kind inhabit, we are in the wee generation which has the ability to get influenced by the many trends that keep coming and going. There is nothing called right or wrong; there is nothing called picture perfect. Movies influence us, the girls/boys next door or next class can change our lifestyle without even talking to us. There is no strict regime of culture that can hold all the people. We are like those grass strands which bend as per the influences that are cast on us by people (similar to lawnmowers) in our surroundings. Fortunately or unfortunately there is not just one lawnmower; there are many of these which are trying to run around and get all the grass following only them. The question is- Do you want to stay as a grass strand unbalancing around or do you want to be the lawnmower?

It's up to you to choose a life that moves as the life takes you or be the champ who moves the life the way you want to. As the old saying goes, "If you don't utilize your time, someone else will for sure", there is no option of being independent of the two choices. If you are one such sturdy weed, then you will be ripped off from your routes right then and there. You ought to choose. You got to choose whether to bend your head or make others' heads nod to your choices and decisions. Only then is there a scope to exist in this world. Living life doesn't mean to be just in existence, it means to live the life the way it deserves to be lived.

Boru kottina, THANK YOU!

Attitude of gratitude can take us to great altitudes of life. Thanking for whatever we have and whatever we have got is a must to lead a satisfying life. Sometime back I was watching the audio launch of a Telugu movie "Iddarammayalatho", where in the hero of the movie stylish star Allu Arjun gave a speech. Initially, he told that generally during such functions people thank cameraman, director, stunt master, choreographer, music composer, technicians and others and it seems boring to the audience. In spite of it being repetitive and boring, he exclaimed that he would do the same boring thing of thanking all the people who had worked for the movie.

Here is where we come to understand the title of the post today. Probably the south Indian audience understands the title being partly in Telugu which is a language of Indian origin. For overseas readers, let me give a brief description of the title. "Boru kottina" in Telugu language means "Even if one gets bored...." Allu Arjun began his speech by thanking everyone though it might seem boring to anyone who has been watching such shows regularly. He explained as to how 300 people come together to work for a movie. The dance masters keep thinking about different variety of steps that they should choreograph for the hero to impress his fans. The music composer keeps researching and experimenting about what kind of songs need to be composed in order to bring life into the movie. Likewise every other person in the entire unit works and gives his/her best to make the movie a grand success while at the end, the hero of the movie takes away most of the credit.

First of all, I appreciate Allu Arjun's attitude of gratitude. Many of the times, we also tend to take certain things for granted and seldom remember to acknowledge or thank or appreciate the help that we receive. It's very important for us to thank God for what He has blessed us with. All people living around us have been in some or the other way responsible for our well-being. We must acknowledge every such person at some or the other occasion. Last but not the least, we must thank our very own souls for being in us and leading us.

I thank each and every reader of mine who has inspired me to write more and more and share my thoughts and ideas. Thank you all once again!

What is your insight?

All of us live through several moments of our lives. How many of us learn from every moment of our life? A poet views the grandeur of a waterfall and exclaims, "What a beauty!” An engineer witnesses the same and cries out, "What a waste!" What we take out of every instance of our life and things and situations around us is completely left to us. This is what I call as insight.

If a person is willing to learn even an empty road can teach him the best lessons of life. It is completely up to our discretion as to what we decide to take out of any situation of our life. Most of the times we neglect so many occurrences in our life that we end up being completely clueless as to where we spent all our time and energy. The reason is because we wouldn't have taken out anything constructively out of them but when we decide to focus on triggering our insight towards every small thing that happens around us, we get a deeper understanding of stuff around us. A thought that dives into the depth of something that is very ordinary shall reveal the extraordinary lesson beneath the ordinary. No big things can be understood unless we have understood small things. To understand the tiny truths of life, we need to develop an insight that studies more about everything which seems to be normal for others. Only then will we be capable to opine on any particular topic aptly.

What we think about others is what we are. The more we exercise this talent of ours to understand things, people, experiences and situations around us, the more we start understanding ourselves. We become more capable to judge our anticipations and feelings. We start discovering ourselves afresh anew. Life is all about discovering the highest true form of oneself which unfortunately gets muddled in the noises of the world around as we grow up. Having an insight into everything helps us to get back our true-selves. Your insight on this post is more than welcome and more than valuable.

2P tend to P2P

The title might be little confusing. Let me clear the confusion before we go ahead with the article. 2P means practice and patience and P2P means performance to perfection. I could have easily split up this blog post into two, one on practice and the other on patience but didn't do so because at the end only the combination of these both can yield the expected result in life. Let's have a brief insight into this amazing combination.

'Nobody is perfect' is a repeated slogan that we hear almost everywhere, still the drive towards perfection is always enforced upon us. In fact, there is nothing wrong in racing to be perfect because on the way to perfection we shall meet excellence for sure. There is no other better satisfaction than achieving the peaks of perfection in our performance. Any kind of performance needs consistent practice to reach the perfection. Just practice alone doesn't help. Only perfect practice can lead to perfection. The duration of practice might last as long as we reach perfection and hence it demands patience. Only when we patiently practise can we deliver perfection in every performance of ours. If you practise continuously for few days and after that lose patience and give up the practice then perfection can't be achieved. On the other hand, if you're totally patient and practise once in a while without any sense of urgency, even then the perfection in performance cannot be achieved.

Different people who have become successful in life have derived various lessons from their journies. Some state the message of patience, some of hardwork, some of humbleness and so on. However, success is a result of culmination of all these positive qualities. No one quality alone can yield success in life. We have to possess and exhibit all the essential requirements which the success demands. You can share your opinions about success on

WORLD INSPIRATION DAY #WID

The world has 365 days of a year to cherish every emotion possible. Still people have assigned certain specific days for celebrating special occasions. Different countries celebrate their independence days, republic days and region specific functions on particular days. However as a global audience all of us celebrate those days that are common to the entire world which influence every human being because all homo-sapiens share the same set of feelings and emotions.

When there can be a day to express Love to your Love on the occasion of Valentine's day, a day to express love towards your mother on the occasion of Mother's day, a day to celebrate Christmas, a day to mark international Human Rights, a day for women, a day to spread awareness about AIDS, a day to celebrate Merit (June 30) then there must be a day to share a message of inspiration, to do something inspiring, to make inspiring things happen, to energize others and that day is termed and celebrated as WORLD INSPIRATION DAY on 23rd of April every year! It was the day Inspiration Unlimited Vision was first conceived.

Life is a roller-coaster ride for every one of us. No one loves to suffer, yet all of us are made to, sometimes either due to the mistakes of self while other times due to the errors of the environment. Problems and hurdles are the part and parcel of the game called LIFE. No matter what, each one of us has to battle through the setbacks and failures to realize the highest purpose of our lives. There are those lucky few out there who bounce back after every boulder of uncertainty strikes them and leaves them shattered. They are the real leaders who go on to lead the globe. However, the majority who stay shattered could have reached the light at the end of the tunnel, courtesy, a little Inspiration. While they are being hit by the avalanche of issues of life, there needs to be hope and scope to uplift their lives and this can happen only when there is a possibility of solutions. The foundation of this possibility is inspiration. If people aren't inspired action doesn’t happen. Hence, inspiration is a must.

Amidst the countless number of problems that are thumping down the spirit of living itself amongst people, it has become the ultimate necessity to reawaken the energy of life in the world. Though it’s believed that people need to be energetic, enthusiastic, motivated and inspired throughout the year, not everyone can be, courtesy, the energy sapping nature of people around us. Hence, to respect and celebrate that day of the year that can trigger the inspiration to sustain the optimism and fighting spirit throughout and make it memorable, enters into the records of world history a day named as WORLD INSPIRATION DAY on 23rd of April.

This day shall remark the day responsible to pay homage to all those industrious people who have left a legacy of inspiration for each one of us alive to follow. This day shall be the standing ovation to all those world leaders who are inspiring stories that inspire their contemporaries. This day shall serve as the womb to all those inspirational legends of the future, who will decide and take immediate action to lead an empowering life influencing and inspiring the masses around.

To commemorate the victories of the past, celebrate the achievements of the present and cherish the visions of the future, we shall celebrate the WORLD INSPIRATION DAY on 23rd of April every year. This day embarks the significance of the requirement of inspiration in every arena of life. This day gives a chance to every person of the globe to blink at all the pressures of life and wink away into the era of inspiration. Every one of us has the right to live a fulfilling life and accomplish all our dreams, goals and visions. Each one of us has the right to stay inspired. Let’s celebrate the WORLD INSPIRATION DAY to awaken the dreamer in us who shall walk every extra mile possible to make this world truly a better place to live in.

Don't waste time evaluating others

I sometimes regret that we are unable to see ourselves on a every moment basis. Our eyes are so specially placed that they always see others apart from us. I feel this is the reason that we are more focused about others than ourselves. What comes in front of our eyes enters our mind, then our words and actions. Hence most of the times majority of us waste time on thinking, talking about and evaluating others.

Man is born as a social animal and forced to live among his fellow-mates. In due course of life, we get so influenced by others and what others are doing that we start engaging our thoughts and thought-processes only in thinking and evaluating about others' actions more than concentrating on what we are supposed to do. However, I am not completely against the fact that we observe or discuss about what other people do. Getting influenced and inspired by others to do good and positive things is always welcome. The more this happens the better the world is going to be. But we see that many of the times people are just worried about what other people are doing. Some of us start evaluating as to why someone did like this or that in that particular situation. How good a step it was or how bad it was, is none of our business. Based on some deeds of a person, people start tagging the person with different conclusions when neither the person nor his deeds are related to them.

More the time we devote on thinking about others or judging someone's character or actions more is the amount of time that we waste which could have been used to improve ourselves. Unnecessary wastage of time is always harmful for our own lives because they are an asset of our lives and can never be recylced or reused. Hence stop concentrating on others and start building your life. Feel free to pass on your feedback on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Quality assurance

As I have been writing blogs continuously for more than 300 times now, more and more people have started reading my blogs. So it becomes a responsibility to write quality blogs. Now that I have taken up the challenge of completing 72 blogs in next 9 days, it's an added pressure to squeeze out quality in each of these blogs. Without quality, any amount of quantity doesn't have any value. So it is very important for me to assure quality with every new blog of mine.

Same is the case with every kind of work that we repeat day after day. Most of the people out there feel that they needn't give an extra look at the routine work that they do everyday, be it the office work or work at home. It sets in the subconscious mind that no matter how well you do it, you still have to do the same the next day. This is the reason why most people don't enjoy their work and as a result do not reap the complete benefits out of it. They halt their own personl progress. A simple example of consistent quality is that of our Litter Master, Sachin Tendulkar. He has played cricket for more than 2 decades now. Still he is the no.1 batsman that any new aspirant in cricket would look up to because he tries his best to assure quality cricket in every new match of his.

Life makes us repeat certain things because it is essential to repeat the important stuff. It's not the work that should excite you, it's you who has to make your work exciting. No matter how much ever you dislike your work, at the end of the day only you shall be responsible for the output of your work. Hence make sure that you assure quality no matter even if you are repeating the same kind for work for the millionth time. I give my best to assure quality in my blogs and hence expect your quality feedback on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Reputation is Temporary

All of us want name, fame and reputation(though all three mean the same, I still want to emphasize on the size of desire in us for these) . We want people to know us, adore us and respect us. We like and love to be in the limelight. Probably some of my dear readers might be nodding their head sideways disagreeing with the want, still its a human instinct to seek attention, credit and recognition. Some might not desire for reputation but will definitely not mind a bit if they gain some. Let's dig deep into one more quote from the book 'Life Simplified!' by Sujit Lalwani, a pro in sales and marketing and the master of networking.

Each one of us are working in our streams contributing something or the other towards the world around us. Some work harder while some work smarter. At the end of the day when it comes to return for the efforts we have put in, it's always either in the form of cash or kind. Cash is a complete monetary aspect which we won't touch in the current blog. Coming to the 'kind' it might be some kind of a honorary gift or a reward or a momento. When the number of these rewards start increasing, the name of the person shall start spreading to more number of tongues and in recommendations of the required type. As more and more of such occasions repeat where the person is being referred to among large audience definitely the image of the person grows in the eyes of the people and this is what reputation is all about. Most of us seek this kind of a special attention
where in we expect that  people should recognise us wherever we go because our name should have reached the place before us.

Just like how a human life is mortal, even the reputation is short-lived which is built just around us and not around our work. Reputation that symbolises only a person is as alive as the person is. The moment the person ceases to exist on the planet even the reputation vanishes. In fact the reputation that we try to build is so fragile that it breaks away with a simple misunderstanding. It is just like trying to build a monument out of the softest glass on this earth. Hence the author suggests one not to run behind something that itself doesn't have any value. You too can share your perceptions on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Accidents of life

Recently I read a line from Mrs. Sudha Murthy's book which said that we are proud about the nations we are born in and this pride is a mere accident. One would be proud of India because s/he was born in India. If the same person was born in some other country s/he would be proud of that country. Similar to this is our new year. People have a lot of craze for celebrating new year. It is after all a number at the end of the day. It is just a mathematical modulation of dates done ages back.

If we really dig into the names of the months in our calendar you can see that october has 'octo' which means '8' but is the tenth month, december has 'dec' which indicates '10' while it's the twelfth month. Some people sometime back, sorry, longtime back assigned some names for a set of days and called them months. When they found that the phase of the same month repeated after one revolution of the earth around the sun they repeated the same month names. Who knows at what point exactly on the earth's orbit did the earth start revolving to coin it as the start of the year. Since there had to be some start January 1st was coined as the start of the year and the day previous to that was coined as the last day of the year. If some other date would have been named as the start of the year, still the seasons or festivals wouldn't have changed. Year would function the same way. Probably coining a start of the year was itself a major accident that happened because of which companies started allotting holidays and people just got one more reason to party and celebrate without any logic.

Life is just filled with such irrelevant logical conclusions for unreasoned accidents. Every day is a fresh day, let's make the best use of it. There is no point of being proud about those for which one has not contributed at all apart from being at the right place at the right time. All pride would  have been there even if the person wouldn't have been there. So concentrate on those works which can be of pride for others once you have contributed your best for it. Cardinal rules of life

Life is a set of limited number of days blessed upon us by God without mentioning the upper limit. What we do out of this is completely left to us. As days pass on many of us look back at our past, some with grief, some with regret while a few with satisfaction. Some with grief because they couldn't do all that they wanted to, some with regret because they didn't do all that they wanted to and some with satisfaction because they could a bit of all that they decided to. All that you must do shall form the cardinal rules of life.

Time just escapes at its own pace and doesn't wait for us to take any action. It's left upon us to run along with it to make things fructify. The reason that many don't achieve all that they want is not that they didn't want to. Simple and the silliest reason is that people tend to forget what they wanted to do. People remember those work that is enforced by others and constantly reminded of or those work which can satisfy their immediate necessities. After about one or two decades they end up just regretting for having lost all the time to make any difference at all. So it's very important for us to divide the work towards our goals and dreams into daily activities. All such daily activities that shall take you towards what you want out of life shall be entitled with certain must-to-do rules and they shall be called as cardinal rules of life. "I must workout in the gym everyday for 90 minutes to have a healthy and fit body", "I must write a blog everyday to develop myself into an author". These are examples of some simple cardinal rules that I make for myself.

Make sure that your cardinal rules are a combination of both your work and target. The moment you read your cardinal rule, it must remind you about your goal as well as the work that you must do to attain the same. This is one of the practical ideas that I designed for myself for a better productive time usage. Do let me know if it helps you as well on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Just chillax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is that which is the most essential when the mind is completely cluttered with all the happenings around? Just Chillax man!!!!!!!!!! Well! my dear reader, you will be completely disappointed if you're expecting some serious lesson for life in this blog but I can assure you on thing for sure and that is, this blog will come in handy whenever you are completely stressed out or burning in the fire of confusion.

Life is all about living happily. There is no point in worrying as all the worry of life doesn't matter when we are dead and gone. Touchwood! Let's do our work and enjoy life but I also accept that our emotions and feelings often get targeted by the situations we are in. So at such times of stress when you have no idea of how to move forward with a light heart, just chillax dude!!!!!!!! Go off to some silent and clean place not too far away from home. If you have some really cool friends who are involved in the same situation as you are take them along. Please don't take someone who doesn't understand your lifestyle and workstyle. Sip a coffee and just tell yourself the formula of 3 idiots- ALL IZZ WELL!!!!!!!!! Put yourself out of the difficult situation and pat yourself for reaching there because difficulties only indicate that you are growing. Discuss or envision a bigger and brighter future and set some schedule to deal with all the problems individually. Don't plan anything else apart from that. Just spend some quality time to understand yourself and your friends better and get back home.

There is not a limited work that can be done and finished in this world. Work keeps piling up one after the other and if one can s/he can even work after dying and still there would be lots left. So give some breaks for chillaxing as well so that your mind and soul are rejuvinated back to the normal state so that you can think of better ways of handling the stuff at work. Attitude reflects in every sphere

Many times you might have come across people who will say that they are very fast in certain things but not the same at work. There might be other instances as well when you will find people who will have all possible reasons of disinterestedness in studies but will be very much interested in every other activity involving fun. Some claim that they are highly responsible when it comes to personal matters but can't keep up the same in professional matters. These kind of indifferences will be many.
Attitude is something which defines our approach towards any situation in life with definite restrictions. When there are no boundaries in terms of space or time, whatever you do is always right and justified but the moment the rules come into play it's very important to be aware of each of our steps. That's when the real attitude gets tested. The intensity of seriousness that you give in the subject of your interest will be the same as that in the area of your liability. No one likes liabilities for sure but you cannot escape them as well. No matter what, you have to deal with them every now and then. This is the time where in all your minor and tiny attitudes and habits come into picture. For example if you follow punctuality, you will be punctual whether it's a cinema or a board meeting, if you follow speed of action and sense of urgency, the same will show up whether it's in professional work or personal commitment. This is what I mean by attitude reflects in every sphere of life.

So the simple test to evaluate yourself is to observe yourself as to how you respond in any situation that you are in. That will automatically reflect your approach in other situations as well. You don't have to live a decade to understand yourself. All it takes is a few moments of unbiased observation of the self. Hope this blog will be useful for you. One sword to protect 100 wounds

Imagine a battle of the times when there were no guns and bombs. People used to fight with metallic weapons such as swords and chains. Sword fight is one of the famous duel between two opponents. If a warrior is already hurt with a hundred wounds on his body, it's quite difficult for him to continue the battle but if he has just one sword in his hand still he can definitely continue the fight such that the wounds are no more hurt and get enough time to recover by the time he keeps fighting and defending himself and continues the battle.

If you have imagined the above scenario exactly or even approximately then you have already got my message. The above battle is what I refer to life as since life is just a series of challenges that we are fighting day in and day out. The warrior is none other than the person who is reading this blog right now. The hundred wounds are the hundred flaws that exist in imperfect beings like us. Let me assure you that there is no Mr.Perfect in this world. The single sword is nothing but that single strength of yours that will take you ahead in life. Friends! just accept the truth that flaws exist in all of us but the only difference between any two people is the number of flaws that are discovered and those which are still hidden from the light of reality. It's quite natural for a warrior to get hurt during a battle and the same way it's quite natural for one to have flaws. But you have to remember that a sword in hand can make the warrior ultra-powerful in spite of the wounds. Similarly one strength of yours if repeatedly executed can shadow all the flaws that you have.

Well! It doesn't mean that you can walk away just like that with one strength. The warrior while defending himself with the sword also makes sure to medicate the wounds and become perfectly fine. Likewise it's our duty to work on our flaws and try achieving the perfection of flawlessness how much ever impossible and distant it might sound. Remember to keep strengthening your strength by exercising it as often as possible and simultaneously keep working on your flaws as well. No wonder that I ask you for your feedback once again on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Are you a copycat?

Probably a question that many wouldn't like to answer or even hear. Let me make it very clear at the first step itself. I am not referring to one of those copycats who copy others' answers in exams to pass or score well in the exam. I am referring to the real exam of life where in all of us are just copying and repeating what someone else has already done. Many have this air around them that they wouldn't repeat what someone else has already spoken or they wouldn't do what someone else has already done. Dear friends! you can copy anything and do it numerous times as long as it leads to the upliftment of the mankind.

New always arises out of the existing. Even the man today we see is a result of continuous process of evolution from the ape generation. I am damn sure that we don't know the name of the man who first completely evolved into a human being from being an ape. Today's technical world is seeing so many cases on patents. Has anyone got the patent on soil or air or water or plasma? When everything on this planet and in this unvierse is a combination of just the above 4 states of matter it's so easy to understand the model of the universe. Each state of matter exists in specific amounts at necessary locations only to fulfill the purpose of its existence. Similarly if you learned a point which you feel you can pass on to someone which might be helpful to that person just go ahead fearlessly as long as it is morally, ethically and legaly correct. You don't have to create something on your own newly just because you don't want to copy what someone else has already said or done.

An inventor is not the one who just invents something novel, an inventor is one who makes sure that his invention benefits large masses of people around him. Observe the model of an atom and compare it to that of a solar system. You can just wonder at how the universe itself copies its own idea. After all, each one of us belong to the same universe. You are not copying or aping anyone, you are just sharing what they have created to spread it among large number of people. You are just being a messenger of a new thought. I don't mind even if you copied someone else's feedback as long as you message me your feedback on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Fun, Work, recreation- All need time

Childhood days were the happiest is what most of them regard as. The reason being there was play everyday and the only work was homework. Recreation was something which we hadn't even had heard of in those days of enjoyment. Work was divided exactly into homework everyday and preparation for tests and exams at the time required. Winter holidays, summer holidays, Christmas holidays, Dussera holidays and so on formed the best times for our trips and recreation. We knew really well as to when to play, when to work and when to rest. But what's happening with the current generation?

Today, you will find so many people working in offices but sad that they are unable to enjoy life while at the same time you will even find people who will be on vacation but will be complaining about loads of work at office and insufficient salary. People think about work while having fun and worry about not having fun while working. They want to take rest during office hours but can't sleep at night since they haven't completed the office work. Earning money and satisfying all the desires and deadlines are mounting pressure on people's heads day by day. At any point while you are at work someone else will be on vacation or at play, while you are playing someone else is bound to be working which is a universal fact. Groupism forces people to do what their peers are doing and the moment one finds him/herself in a different sect than the peers, jealousy and dissatisfaction start to eat away the mental energy and time.

Friends! life is supposed to be an amalgamation of all these three entities- fun, work and recreation. You can't keep working all the time, you can't keep playing all the time, you can't keep resting all the time. So plan and divide your time as to what to do at what time. When you plan your time like this, you are not bothered about what others are doing because you know for sure as to where you are heading. Work excites the brain, fun satisfies the heart while recreation rejuvinates the soul. Keep pouring your feedback on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

What a day!

A wonderful day with varied kinds of experiences comes into a blog now. As I took off from home in the morning, I became a marketing executive and went on to meet the clients to discuss about one of the upcoming novel competitions. After finishing my meetings with the clients, by afternoon I became a Physics teacher for class XI and engaged in 90 minutes of session. By later afternoon, I turned into a trainer to train kids from first to third standard on public speaking. By evening, I took the position of a event co-ordinator to work on sponsorships for one of the upcoming mega events in Bangalore. By late evening, I was exicted watching a live achievement of my team at an international conference. By night I turn into a blogger to convey my experience. I just don't know what else the day has in store for me.

No wonder that I hoped and believed to live a day like this than a routine day of going to one single place and doing a job. It was fabulous for me to interact with people of different age groups ranging from principals to teachers to teenagers to kids. The travelling between different places just keeps you going all the time. Probably I haven't even experienced an ounce of what a big-time entrepreneur relishes enjoying every moment of the day involving in various kinds of work. But I can be sure of one thing and that is 'it all starts here'. Every single day that we breathe into the past of our life should enter at least one page of our memory, else the day fades away soon even from others' memories. The day has witnessed different kinds of emotions and feelings in me and everytime a moment goes by it just asks me as to what I did out of it.

I am more than sure that the busy schedule that can keep you on your toes can take the best out of you. The freedom of working as an entrepreneur just brings in loads of responsibilities along with it and I can clearly understand that I was destined for these. It would be great to read your reviews on is.mohanbn@gmail.com
