Every problem has a solution

Life is a wonderful journey for those who are ready to see it unfold and be prepared to receive the shocks and surprises that it might throw. For some, life becomes drudgery because what they expected and what life gifted them were in opposite poles. No one decides what one needs to get out of life. It's a culmination of lot of factors that moulds the life the way it unfolds. Things that we can have control on seem easier than those on which we don't have any control. Such uncontrollable circumstances take the name of problems. Every problem has a solution just like how every lock is made with a key. Problem is a problem until we discover the solution for it. The best part is- everyone has equal rights to discover the solution of any problem troubling this world.

Once a person is born on this earth, no matter how hard he tries, he cannot escape the clutches of the earthy life until his time to leave the world arrives. Until then he has to pass his time on this planet. When we have no option to escape life, let's enjoy life. There is no point in sitting and moaning about things happening around us. You have the rights to cherish the good moments of life. Likewise you have the responsibility to combat the sad moments of life. While good moments make your heart go light, the tough moments should make you tough to face the challenges of life. Nothing comes easy here; you have to earn it, my friend! For those who doubt whether they will be able to earn what they desire to, here is the simple single philosophy which can empower you to believe in everything that you wish should come true. Every problem has a solution; you just need to discover it. You cannot say which solution will, for sure, solve the problem but you can be sure that when you hit the right solution the problem shall vanish. To make it happen you need to have a firm belief on God and thyself. You have to believe in yourself that you are going to be the problem-solver. Only then will your mind open up to search for solutions. Mind is one of those wonderful creations of God fit in a human body that can solve the unimaginable mysteries of this beautiful planet. Use it well and believe in your efforts which shall go on to solve the problem. What you dream is your right and no one has the rights to snatch it away from you.

There are a lot of people out there who will create problems. There are a lot out there who will complain about problems. There are plenty of those who will only see the problems and run away from them accepting defeat. None of these three categories of people take any action to solve anything. The remaining is the fourth set of people like you and me who should become the torch-bearers for the rest of them around us. We should carry the light of solutions to all the problems that hit us. Not to forget the most important lesson during the tough times of life - "Every problem has a solution".

Trust and belief

Every new seed turns into a sapling with a dream to evolve into a tree with the belief that it will match the sun’s eyes in the morning and the trust that sun won’t deceive from rising the next morning. Not just the plant, every living being on this planet goes to sleep with the belief that it will witness the time after sleep and the trust that the surrounding environment won’t eat it up while asleep. Life itself stands on the two wheels namely trust and belief. Without these two nothing is possible to accomplish in this world.

In the modern day world, there have been a lot of examples wherein the trust and belief of people have been taken advantage of and people have been cheated and betrayed very badly. As a result, people have lost hopes on words like trust or belief. Man has become the biggest enemy of man himself. Due to the innumerable instances of having been the victim of such emotional betrayals, people have started eyeing everyone with disbelief and distrust. It takes ages together to earn the trust and belief of people. Unfortunately there is no other better way to work and rock in life. A group of people have to trust each other and believe in each other’s integrity to work together towards massive goals and visions. Nonetheless, it’s even important to evaluate the people on whom we entrust our beliefs. Doubt and deceit are the best ways to win the competition but not to build a team. In a competition only one person wins but in a clear-hearted communication the entire team wins. Never is an individual a successful person (though only one face represents success on most of the occasions), it’s always a team that flourishes in success or perishes in failure.
By trusting none we don’t even open an opportunity for others to prove their integrity and austerity. Hence there is no probability of achieving anything called success than a mere routine life filled with notions and presumptions. The world has to move towards a better future and for that, we have to unite together trusting and believing each other. No wonder that life will show its dark colours at times but we need to ensure to toughen our evaluation process with every darker shade that blinds our eyes and visualize the brighter side of life. What we visualize is what will materialize.

Respect and regard

In our email communication we write 'Regards' at the end of the mail before writing our name. We use a greeting such as 'Good morning', 'Good evening' or 'Dear', 'Respected' to begin the mail with. The email already shows at what time the mail was sent. It also indicates as to from whom it was received. So these simple words of formality or greeting might seem redundant but they are necessary. There is a particular format in which a formal letter must be written. The way we write in expresses our respect towards the person to whom the letter is concerned. No one is obligated to respect another person, it's just common sense to understand the philosophy of 'give respect and take respect'.

Communication is one of the most intricate parts of our daily life because every moment we are communicating something or the other to the world around us. Conveying the right respect and regard to people with whom we are communicating is highly essential to ensure the right flow of communication and relationship sustenance. No one likes to be asked about work at the first shot. Everyone expects a warm greeting before even beginning a conversation. People are already pressurized from all sides by commanders who keep asking for reports from them. We are humans and not computers. Even animals expect care and love before getting ordered to sit in a corner. Likewise even humans expect courtesy before being asked anything. This warm feeling can only be expressed through respectful greetings and warm regards which everyone needs to learn else the simple straight forward words might sound just too offending.

Even if we go back to the days of old stone age, humans definitely existed and they lived. Even in the modern age people are thriving in their wonderful lives. Hundred years later too, humans shall exist unless there is a drastic sudden catastrophe that might wash away the human race from the face of the earth. People are here to stay. The work came later. All that people need to live is food, clothing and shelter. More than the hunger for food, there is a greater hunger for care and love in this world, said Mother Theresa. Respecting the feelings and emotions of people is far more important than the work to happen. Hence expressing the right respects and the best regards to others while communicating should be our way of living.

Wake UP call - 12 best lessons from my mentor - Part 4

Lesson 10: Excite your work

No matter how many leaves we take from our college or office, ultimately we need to accept the truth of life that we need to work to earn our bread and butter. We need to work to earn our livelihood, we need to work to accomplish our dreams. Ultimately majority of our life is spent only on working because life is just the other name or work and vice versa. As we are aware that we need to work throughout our life, it's mandatory for us to make our work exciting. No one can come and make your work exciting. You've to innovate different ways of exciting your work all by yourself to enjoy doing it day and night.

Lesson 11: Every new skill matters

There is no other option but accepting the fact that there are a billion talents and skills existing in this world today. Every skill has its advantages. So no skill is small, no skill is big as long as you know as to when to use it and where to use it. No opportunity comes to us with a pre-invitation. We must be prepared to meet any opportunity whenever it strikes to achieve success. Developing new skills goes into the category of preparation. A new skill which you're interested in may or may not be useful currently in your work but there's no harm in developing it today because it might be of help tomorrow or sometime later. Hence I claim that every new skill matters.

Lesson 12: Surprise the world with something new frequently

The world around us and the people in it always like and love surprises. Monotony is ruling the lives of many in current times. People are trying to find solutions to breakthrough the doors of daily work schedule. Unfortunately some are bound by honesty while some others by salary. As a result, they work in spite of all the hard feelings at heart. What brings a fresh feeling in them is that of seeing someone who has broken the shackles of the world, broken some rules, taken some risks to boast of some achievements. When the audience is awaiting, the superstar has to arrive and he cannot repeat monotony. He has to bring something new for every show to entertain the audience . Likewise, each one of us will have to get something new often to surprise the world around us which is waiting for it.

Wake UP call - 12 best lessons from my mentor - Part 3

Lesson 7: Capture the collection on the way

How many photos have you taken of the street that you travel through everyday? How many photos have you taken separately with each of your friends? Probably the answers for both these questions is very less in number. We go through a lot of things but don't capture them as memories. Sometime, during the course of our journey when we need a collection of all such things we have no clue as to how to build it. Hence it's always advisable to take a photo at a new place where you are the first time on the way to your work. Like this you can have a huge collection of memories stored with you to refer back at any wanted time.

Lesson 8: Categorize your To-Do list

Writing down a to-do list is very important for our work to get distributed into a format such that not even one activity escapes our notice. However, putting all the work to be done under just one list gives no priority or consideration exclusivity for any single task. Each item on the to-do list is equivalent to the ten other tasks that exist there. It's just like training a lion and a chicken in the same training room with the same hunter which is totally irrational. Hence we must categorize the tasks on our to-do list so that we can prioritize accordingly and work.

Lesson 9: Targets are the most essential

No run can be scored if the crease is not marked at all in cricket; not even a single goal can be scored if the goal post is absent in the football field. Likewise in life nothing can be achieved if we don't have targets to achieve something. Target need not be only what we need to achieve, target should also be the time limit within which we need to achieve what we desire to achieve. Unless our target is time-bound, we will not be able to drive our energy at the highest peaks possible in order to exploit our complete efficiency. Associate your work with a target and enjoy the benefits.

Wake UP call - 12 best lessons from my mentor - Part 2

Lesson 4: Wake up, Take up, Dress up, Make up

If you've to go up in life, then you have to follow the 4 UPs of life. This was taught to my mentor by his mentor. Here are those 4 powerful UPs which can make us go up and grow up in life. Firstly, it's essential to wake up from our sleep early. Secondly, we must be ready to take up every responsibility that comes our way by seeing it as an opportunity. Thirdly, dressing up to be ready for work is the next UP. The world recognizes you by your dress first than your words. To err is human. So, it's very natural to find mistakes happening and we will have to respect the Murphy's law as well. Finally, we must be ready to make up for all the wrong decisions taken and unanticipated events that take away our intended results from us.

Lesson 5: Be time conscious

Time is eternal and immortal but humans are not the same. Hence, everything that's associated with us has a limited quantity. Likewise even time is a limited resource that God has gifted us of which we must make a wise choice of while using. A penny spent can be earned back but a minute lost can never be regained. That's why it's important for us to keep a check on where our time is being invested in and be totally time conscious.

Lesson 6: Feel the superstar in YOU

No matter how much ever one tries, one cannot be exactly like someone else is. Each human being on this planet is unique in himself/herself. Being so, everyone has unique capabilities and the skill levels to excel at them. It's completely up to us to decide how far we want to reach in life. Everyone dreams of being a superstar by mastering certain skillsets. While you dream of becoming a superstar you should feel the superstar in you. You will have to behave as if you've become the best in what you do and that influence itself shall make you a real superstar someday in the eyes of the people around.

Wake UP call - 12 best lessons from my mentor - Part 1

27th July was yet another remarkable day when I went to my mentor, Sujit Lalwani sir with a problem seeking for a solution only to learn that the problem was not the problem at all but there was something beyond that. The discussion started with just a request of one minute to discuss about the plan on work timings but it took an entirely different course as the real reasons for the confusion started unfolding. A one minute intended clarification went on for more than two hours of discussion and some of the best lessons were shared by my mentor. There is no point keeping these 12 powerful lessons with me alone. They've helped me a lot and I wish to share them with my dear readers so that whoever wants to uplift their lives can use them.

Lesson 1: Feel your dream

All of us have dreams but not all people feel their dreams. The reason you will find people with dreams but no destinations is because they don't cherish the feeling of accomplishment of their dreams even before dreams come true. Only when you can feel the thriving effect while imagining the dream coming true only then will you be able to accomplish the dream with the drive it gives you. Hence it's very important to feel your dreams while working to achieve them.

Lesson 2: Reignite your dreams

I am sure that you can go back to your past and recollect a lot of dreams that you had in your childhood. As we grow up we tend to forget the dreams and start building new ones. The same process repeats and old dreams are forgotten while new ones are built. There is no point in forgetting a dream once dreamt. Hence it's very essential to reignite our dreams time and again only to not allow them from dying away. There is no point in allowing your dreams to die away because we are alive to realize our dreams in reality.

Lesson 3: Even you're a human

While working towards multiple accomplishments in life, we tend to get pressurized by the number of tasks on our to-do list/s. Too much of competition from all directions bog us down. At one point, the frustration reaches its peaks and we might even decide to just get away with all the work at hand and not do anything just to attain some bliss in solitude. At such times, it doesn't mean that you're one of those who run away fearing work; it's just a temporary feeling which is very much natural for a human to feel.

Something will happen for sure

All of us were born tension-free into this world but as time goes by, we attach every type of tension around us and by the time we leave this planet we also leave behind a huge pile of worries and tensions. Fear of what will happen in the future is one of the most critical issues that's disturbing many souls around us. What will happen in the result? What will happen if there is a catastrophe? What will happen to me if my company shuts down?

Man has the unlimited ability to think out of the box whenever it comes to predicting the future. More than predicting the future it's more of the fear of the future that keeps talking in the person. No matter what we think or what we do, none of us have a complete control to what can happen in the future. We can try our best to make happen the best but we need to be aware that not always what we desire is what we deserve. Just because this probability of things turning out wrong can happen, we needn't worry about those things which turn out wrong. All that we need to know is that something will happen for sure. At least nothing will happen for sure if nothing else takes place. Man has to be prepared to face the unexpected. Life is a journey that brings every other day unexpected challenges only to make us stronger to face the life ahead.

Exam is a big worry for students while inflation is the biggest worry for a country. Recession is a big tension for final year students while food for the next day is the basic worry for a poor fellow. At the end of the day, each one of us want something from the future and the probability of it not happening often feeds imbalance into our minds and life. If we are able to console ourselves that something shall happen for sure and we can give our best to make something that's beneficial for us to happen as well, we can free our mind of tensions so that we can concentrate on what needs to be done at present.

Prompt and instant

Recently, during a book-reading session with my friends, I came across a line which asked, 'How long is your response to stimulus?' The stimulus can be anything that's external or internal. How fast we are in answering the stimulus determines our speed of action. The world is delighted with prompt and instant replies and actions. The slightest delay that we do in our prompt responses results in sowing seed to a disease called procrastination.

The general perception of people about others is that people are lazy. Each one has his own set of problems which seem much bigger than that of others. Amidst the chaos that one is going through, it's generally tough to be alert all the times when there is an external calling. It might not just be the problems, even the to-do list of a person might be too long to cater to someone else's calls. Unfortunately, the outside world is completely unaware of the problems that we are entangled in or the tasks that we are entitled to fulfill our duties to. When opportunities knock our doors in the form of others, if we are not prompt in answering them, they move on to the next door without waiting for us. Hence problems or our work can never stand as a reason for not responding promptly to others' requests. On the other hand, if we are prompt in responding to an external request or call or an order, we are respected for our quick responses and opportunities shall follow later.

Prompt response does not mean that one has to leave all the tasks at hand and start answering the external request. If each one left their work to fulfill what others ask for, then not even a single work will be completed. Prompt response only means to answer the incoming query and providing a suitable action plan for the same. Once a prompt response is given and an action plan is stated and decided upon for a task, it enters the to-do list of the person and should be done as and when required. However, work will happen only when our responses are instant and prompt.

Gap widens the relationship

Communication is one of the most prominent bridges to maintain relationships. Whenever there is communication gap between two people it automatically hurts the relationship. The more the gap the more departed the people go. Communication is the strong bonding that holds people together. Out of sight is out of mind.

Relationship is all about better understanding of each other. The strength of a relationship can always be estimated by the measure of the depth of understanding of each other between two people and to understand a person one has to spend time with that person. This spending of time with each other can be in the form of meetings or phone calls or email communication or any other type. At the end of it all, communication is a must to establish the trust or respect or love between any two people which eventually moulds into some sort of a relationship. Whenever there is a slight communication gap between two people, either of the two must take the initiative to communicate. Unfortunately in today's self-esteemed world, both the parties have ego issues because both feel that the first one to initiate communication might just surrender to other person's ego and hence both restrain communicating and eventually the realionship falls apart.

We build relations not to break. Also, building alone doesn't suffice. Everything that has been built in this world has to be maintained else it deteriorates and perishes. Likewise even relationship must be maintained once built and communicating on a regular basis is the best way to maintain and sustain relationships with lot of people and hence a great human network. Learn, Practise, Innovate

All of us are born in the age where the wheel has already been invented. So there is no need to reinvent the wheel. What I mean when I say that we needn't reinvent the wheel is that lots of research and development have already gone in even before we were born. So instead of trying to figure out things on our own it's better to learn from the works by great men already documented so that we can invest our time and energy in improvising them.

The three simple words that form the title of this blog can form the three simple steps for growth in our lives. Man has made sure from the days of civilization that all that he does gets documented so that it will be helpful for further generations. So make use of this existing knowledge base and learn from it. Once you have learned the existing means of accomplishing a particular task, start practising them so that you master the art of making things happen with the best optimization possible. The more you practise, the more near you get to perfection and also simultaneously productive output is bound to happen which keeps the work going on. The next step shall be to innovate new ways of performing the same task by adding certain modifications based on your knowledge and experience so that the method gets even more efficient. Then this can be passed on to the next generation and serve the purpose of growth.

I have seen many people who try to create things out of nothing and just simply waste all their time and energy. Creativity always springs out of a ocean of existing knowledge mine. It's only when we connect different aspects of what we have learned based on our experience will we able to come up with novel stuff that can give a sense of freshness to the world around. Do drop in your one-word feedback on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Collecting new experiences

Last few days I have been in a spree of meeting people and learning about what they have done and how's their past been. Due to the
people from diverse backgrounds whom I have met, I have learned many lessons and also understood about the human psychology partially. As a reason of these meetings, I have got immeasurable understanding about how people of different age and belonging to different backgrounds think and act. I cannot definitely claim that I understand everything but surely I understand a bit better now than before.

We have got one single life and in that we have a very limited amount of time. It is definitely impossible for us to go through all the possible experiences in the world. So sharing the stories of our personal experiences and listening to others' experiences are the only ways through which we can assimilate variety of experiences which help our wisdom grow. This inturn shall help us to handle various challenges ahead in life. Not just an advantage for us, by collecting new experiences from others we gather sufficient knowledge that we can guide some other person who is undergoing a similar situation like one of the experiences that we have gathered from other people. More the amount of varied experiences, more the problems that can be solved because problems are limited in variety but are applicable to many people. So a single experience of one person who has solved a problem is sufficient to solve the same problem of thousand others.

The best way to make a collection of new experiences of many people is by meeting and talking to a large number of people. In today's busy world, people seldom find their close ones to be free to discuss in detail about all the experiences that they have undergone till now. As a result people are ready to share their experiences with someone who has the patience to listen to them. So just be a good listener and you can take away a baggage of experiences. You can share your experiences with me on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Revolutions have happened and shall happen again

Industrial revolution, White revolution, Green revolution, American revolution etc have happened in the history and have been recorded very strongly. Massive rapid changes have taken place due to such revolutions which have completely changed the face of nations. If revolutions have occured in the previous past then it is obvious that revolutions shall take place in the future also. Revolutions took place when masses were worn out with the recurring odd times and few couraged up to lead all of them to fight the system and change it for the better. So if you're frustrated with the number of odd things happening around then just get ready for one more revolution.

Every system is designed to be in a stable state and only then equilibrium can exist to maintain the required balance. But disturbances are bound to occur in any system. So when such perturbances penetrate the system, it slides to one side. This goes on until the tipping point when the system is about to completely fail and become extinct and that is the exact point when the threshold of pain is reached by the majority existing in the system. Since never any system can become obsolete, it has to be brought back to balance where majority in the system are happy with the system. At such times occur revolutions which restore the harm caused through decades in a matter of few years. The only deceiving part of a revolution is that people will not even have an idea when it is about to occur which they least expected in their entire lifetime.

It is a disheartening fact today to hear that people have even lost the hope that the world shall change into a better one due to regular bad things that are happening around day in and day out. If Mahatma Gandhiji had given up his hopes upon Indian freedom within first ten years of his freedom struggle, then probably we wouldn't have got our freedom during 1947 itself. If Mother Theresa had given up hopes on serving the numerous patients then probably the world wouldn't have known the real meaning of 'service to mankind'. The reason they created a revolution in what they did was because they believed in their vision and fought every circumstance to bring it into reality. Hence amidst the millions who have lost hope on positive change in this world, you have to decide whether you still want to remain in those millions or want to step ahead into the group of those few who shall create a revolution that shall change the life of those millions for the better because revolutions are bound to happen. You can surely share your participation on

The idea matters

Just few days back I had written a blog about executing the ideas and thoughts that come to our mind. After I wrote about how people tend to deviate away from work and don't execute what they think, I switched the frame of reference to those people who are always
thinking and simultaneously executing a lot of their plans. Then I realised that the execution of each and every idea that comes to the mind of such people is very difficult because ideas run a lot faster than execution. That is when I read a famous anecdote and concluded that execution is a must when the idea matters despite all constraints of time, money and human resources.

Once two people were travelling in a train. The second person was really awed by the persona carried by the first person. That is when the first person shared his vision with the second person to create an institution for science, technology and innovation. The result of this sharing of an idea was IISC- Indian Institute of Science, the second person was J.R.D.Tata while the first person was none other than Swami Vivekananda. This was the anecdote that completely took my thought to another higher level of perception. It's always not possible by us to execute each and every idea of ours due to different constraints. Sometimes people feel that they cannot share an idea of thiers with others because it might be stolen away from them and they might not get the credit. Other times people might also feel that without them doing the work by themselves first, they cannot ask or guide someone else to execute the idea. As a result of any of these confusions, finally the idea doesn't materialise into execution which is once again a loss for this world.

Once an idea comes to a person's mind which has the capacity to do good to the human society it must be executed. If the same person who got the idea cannot execute it either due to lack of prior experience or insufficient resources, it must be shared with people and for sure he shall find one person who will take the idea to the execution step. At the end of the day all that matters is execution of an idea which really matters to our world. Feel free to share your ideas about this blog on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

The convincer's power

I have heard it many a times that there's your way, my way and the right way. You tend to hear such statements whenever there are arguments. Coming to arguments which flow to a proper logical end without either of the parties escaping, you can always notice that there is one side which has a strong convincer who has an answer for every argument of the opposition. This convincer has the ability to reverse the debate if he is made to team up with the oppostion side. This is the power of the convincer.
No matter how much ever logical reasoning exists, still it's the ability of the convincer that decides the detination of the debate. No matter whichever side the convincer is shifted to the debate tilts towards that end. In this diverse world with different cultures and different people, nothing is right while nothing is wrong. Some things are right according to some people while the same things are wrong according to some other set of people. No one really knows the real depth of good or bad. So as long as the powerful convincer is able to convince others to follow his path, they shall follow. Whoever has developed the courage, ability and urge to convince others to agree to his viewpoints always wins the debate just by the mere confidence more number of times than the rational reasoning.

This world needs a person who can rule over it. People are confused as to what is right and what is wrong. They need a leader who shall show them the right path but not all shall express this inner feeling of their's. So it's left upto each one of you to decide whether to take hold of the reigns of this world and drive it in the best direction or not. Really looking forward for your reviews on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Pin your hopes strongly

Troubles or problems seem to exist in this world at their own wish and will. They neither care about people nor animals. They pound their feet wherever they see that there is the minutest possibility of living. They do not care whether you are poor or rich, Christian or Muslim or Hindu, healthy or wealthy, optimistic or pessimistic or anything for that matter. If you are thinking that you can run away from these, you are definitely wrong because they are omnipresent. All that can help you is your hope for survival.

When I say 'survival' I don't mean only the survival of your life alone. I mean the survival of your desires and dreams. Most of us are afraid of problems though we optimistically call them as challenges. In fact the wondering fact is that we are more afraid of problems that shall occur in future rather than those that are currently eating away our peace into pieces. Friends! problems are the part and parcel of life and they shall play their part as designed. Unfortunately some people who have perceived their problems as the hardest ones go on to expect the same kind of life even further. Law of attraction works and they get it. In due process they start sacrificing their dreams of luxuries one by one and at the end of life blame that they could never enjoy the best of life as they were fighting the worst of life. It was a choice to choose between fighting the worst and getting the best. At such instances of making the right choice just make sure that you pin your hopes strongly.

Hope is probably the only reason that we get into sound sleep at night. Problems shall occur irrespective of you living or just surviving your life. Don't just be bogged down by thinking about them all the time. Sometimes you will have to take steps for a better life in spite of knowing that the problems shall arise. All the problems shall get managed. So keep the worry at bay by just making sure that you have pinned your hopes strongly. You can pin back your feedback on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Free lifestyle: Free of make-ups and get-ups

The only two points in life when we least care about what others think about us are; one, when we are in our birthbed and the second when we are in our deathbed. In fact there is a famous proverb is kannada which translates into english like this- "When we came to this world we were naked and when we go back from this world we shall be naked. What you find in between these two is just darkness". This proverb is more rhyming in kannada. In spite of this clear understanding we put up a lot of get-ups and make-ups to show our untrueselves to the world outside. Reasons are many for doing so while we are losing out on the real happiness of a free lifestyle: free of get-ups and make-ups.

Someone said "eating is our choice but dressing is others' choice". This statement is so true that if you observe the people around you, you shall find that people can't wear dresses which they like or are comfortable in. They have to wear dresses that suit the customs, business etiquette, pride or to just impress someone else. Most of the times we don't throw out our opinions either because of elders' fear, embarrasment to people in higher positions, fear of law, fear of losing the liking/respect from people. We put on an artificial smile just to hide our emotions and move on with such situations. Man has completely lost the ability to sustain on one's own emotions except a few highly matured yogis or wise men(similar women included). In today's modern generation suffering from emotional turmoil, each one needs someone else to rely upon, to share the owes of life and someone to empathize and sympathize. At the end of the day life just seems to be a drama where in we just play the roles assigned by the world than being ourselves.

The reason for all these get-ups and make-ups are our desires. We would want to seep in through every possible situation only to enjoy all that we desire. Hence you will find those people who have either lived all the desires of the world or who have renounced all desires in their purest form who don't fear saying their true inert feelings and dress in a simple style called the free lifestyle: free of make-ups and get-ups which not many would like do compromise for in this modern sophisticated fashionable world. Feel and do/Do to feel

Life provides so many varieties of activities to us day in and day out. So how do we choose from this ocean of opportunities as to what we need to do. Forget doing, even talking certain statements is our choice. I have observed that in many of the trainings the trainer trains the trainees to say something and feel it when they say it. Oftentimes people just repeat without any feeling just under the force of the trainer. So was it the feeling or the saying which was important?

Motivation is something which is temporary and many yield in making commitments beyond their strengths because of the feeling fed in the form of words of motivation. After sometime when the motivation ceases inch by inch, people start to notice that even the feeling would have subsided and the commitments for which they had agreed with high intensity of excitement just few days back start feeling like heavy burdens on their heads. Time and again man has contradicted his own decisions and these kind of incidents repeat often. So let's first know that this is quite natural to happen and happens with all. Secondly, some people really feel the urge to take up some kind of a task which I may refer to as the inner instinct and hence they do and coach others passionately on the same lines. Others who wouldn't have felt the dire need to do the same agree to do based on the presentation probably without any feeling or a sense of pseudo-feeling and hence feel an aversion towards it later. So how do we solve this?

It's very simple but requires your time and action. Remember! no work is less significant in this world. So if you have taken up some commitment without a feeling for it, just forget about it and go ahead and do it as one of your basic duties of life. You might get the feeling while doing or you might not. If you feel the intensity of work it's good, if you don't then you need not have to take up the same commitment later. The name is Ashok Shankar Rathod

Ashok Shankar Rathod is the boy who invested just a single football to start his organization OSCAR. No doubt that he is already quite famous because of the 67 newspaper articles that have featured him and the numerous TV channels that have interviewed him. Still I wanted to document his success story in my blog as a small gift of gratitude for the amazing lessons that he taught me. Let me give a small introduction of him first.

Ashok Rathod is a boy from a slum in Mumbai who started teaching football to the others kids in his locality. Then he motivated them to continue their education keeping his football coaching as a fulcrum. Because of this initiative of his more than 600 kids continued their education without dropping out of school. He was even responsible for 150 girls to enter schools. He was awarded the RELIANCE Real HERO award as well. He has represented India at international level youth conferences and has travelled to foreign countries 9 times within the age of 24. His organization OSCAR - Organization for Social Change, Awareness and Responsibility has reached 6 states of India and has impacted 1500 kids.

Key learnings from Ashok Rathod which happened when I met him on November 4th,2012 were as follows; Patience and courage are must if you want to achieve your dreams and visions. As we grow up we take a lot from the society and hence it's necessary for us to give back to the society as well. People will tease, doubt and ridicule us on our way but we must be focussed on our work and towards the completion of our work. Many might even not support, still we must be ready to work single-handedly on our goals. I really thank Mr.Ashok Rathodji from the bottom of my heart for the immense learning and the example that he has set for the world to follow in coming times. Friends! you can mail your thanks which I shall forward to Ashok sir on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

It's yours as long as it's not exhibited

I would want to quote the simple example of Sachin Tendulkar and Steve Jobs before I jump into the details of this blog. Sachin was very passionate about cricket and started playing on the streets as a child. As time went by he started playing for his region as well and finally reached the Indian team. He was just displaying his talent whenever he went for selections. Once his talent was sufficiently exhibited it became a responsibility on him to play well as the pride of his country was at stake. So his talent was no more his alone, it became an asset for the nation and the team. Steve Jobs started the company Apple and designed computers, tablets and phones based on his idea of user interface satisfaction. Once his initial products became successful among the masses, people started expecting really quality products and out of the world design for the products from APPLE. They were even ready to wait in queue to buy its products. Once Steve Jobs technical talent was exhibited to the world no more it remained restricted to him alone, it became a hope for a better life for the world. The same trend continues with Apple company even today as well even after the demise of the great soul.

Dear friends, you are a source of unlimited bunch of talents. Don't hide it from the world. Exhibit each one of them. You are the medium chosen by God to contribute your talents for the progress of the world. The talent remains your asset as long as only you know about it. The moment it comes into the light of the common man's eye and he sees the worth and virtue of it, the talent gets shared between you and the world. From then onwards you just remain a mere source of your talent and it shall find its destination in the hearts of the world. This is what will bind you to the world just like how a drop of water in an ocean forms a part of the ocean irrespective of its individuality. So you don't have to be highly secure about your talent. Just be aware that your talent is at the service of the world and exhibit it more and more number of times to a larger audience of the world. Don't feel shy to write to me about your talents on is.mohanbn@gmail.com
