What will others think about me?

"Sabse bada rog, kya kahenge log". This is a transliteration of a Hindi statement which means that the biggest disease is 'what will others say?". It inertly indicates the worry about what others will say about me. I had always thought that this was a very simple and well-known topic and hence not necessary for me to address. But I find that each one I come across is suffering from this disease and sometimes even I tend to forget this saying. The best reinforcement is by sharing.

Man is a social animal. As a result of all other homo-sapiens surrounding us we are answerable to lot of them for our words and actions. The worst part is when we need to even answer the strangers about things completely unrelated to them. So many people suffer from the pain of worrying as to what the other person might be thinking and saying about them. This worry doesn't have any logical reasoning because it is just made up in one's own mind by a mere assumption without any confirmation from the other person whether s/he actually is thinking about him/her in the way s/he imagined. The person is really not sure if the other person spoke the way s/he has imagined him/her to have spoken. We interpret gestures with different meanings at such worry times and reaffirm our nonsensical made-up thoughts to deepen the pain further. If it really mattered to both about what the other person thought or said about you, s/he will share it with you directly and the matter can be resolved. If the other person has not spoken to you directly about what s/he is thinking or saying about you then it's none of your business to worry about that.

"An idle mind is devil's workshop" was a previous slogan. Today's slogan is 'an idle mind is devil's paradise'. All these thoughts about other people come to our mind only when it is not generating thoughts about our work. So either there is a scarcity of work or goals. So the moment you think about what others will say or think about you, you can be sure that you have to once again revise and reinforce your goals. I hope you liked this blog. A mere thought

I have seen many people complaining that how much ever they work all goes as a waste and they reap nothing out of it. Even you might have heard people claiming something like this ''No man, I just wasted my time doing all this stuff''. Friends! even garbage sells. Then how can your actions go a waste. Not just your actions even your words cannot go a waste. I can guarantee you that even a thought in our mind doesn't go a waste. God has planned this world perfectly well for us. What you sow is what you reap. The output of this world is clearly controlled by the input of thoughts, actions and words of the inhabitants habituating the planet.

I am very sure that by this time you are going back to all those recent thoughts, words and actions of yours. Hence now I would like to share the concept of waves and antennas in relation to human mind that I studied in one of the books that I read. Every human mind is a transceiver. Each one of them emits particular frequency of waves and can receive signals emitted by other brains. This is somewhat similar to the concept of telepathy wherein two or more individuals can communicate without the usage of any media except for their mind and concentration powers. So every thought of yours gets converted to a wave and emits into the surrounding universe. When similar thoughts are emitted by other antennas tuning to the same frequency of thought as generated by you the impact of the thought increases which makes the thought to convert into reality on ground. That is when you are astonished to witness that what you thought just came true.

So there is no point in neglecting any thought that comes to your mind because you never know the intensity of the thought generated by you. Hence make sure that you focus your mind on stuff that concern you the most with the utmost intensity so that lot of them turn into reality soon and beware of any ill thoughts that might just hamper your progress. Every thought is capable of churing around a tornado just like the butterfly effect. Your feedback is valuable on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

People shall fight

All of us are aware that we need to work to get what we desire for. In one of my previous blogs I had spoken about working and as well as making sure that this work is projected well to yield the result that it deserves. You can refer the blog 'Project your work' for your reference. When one is not rewarded for what one deserves, I had mentioned that one should fight for it and even that is a part of his work. Just 2 days later after writing this blog a superb thought struck my mind which said that when one has genuinely given his best not just him the world around him shall fight for his reward.

A very simple yet profound example that I would like to bring to your notice today is that of Mahatma Gandhiji. He struggled and fought for the freedom of India. When He was arrested by the British no doubt that he fought to get out in order to continue the freedom struggle but even the people fought for the release of the Mahatma. When there were Hindu-Muslim riots happening Gandhiji went on satyagraha without taking any food. Even at that time people fought to stop the fight just for the sake of Gandhiji. The current example we can talk about is Sri Anna Hazare who went on Satyagraha to fight corruption on his own will and wish. People joined hands to end the Satyagraha taken up by Anna by fighting against the government to take reforms to end corruption. I have seen so many posts on facebook wherein people share about the struggle that any person is going through and seek support of all their friends to help that person though they are not even connected to the struggling person directly. I still remember one of the unforgettable incidents in my past in schooldays when I was slapped by the principal for no fault of mine. At that time though my self-defence couldn't resolve the situation completely, it was few friends of mine who stood by me and proved my innocence regarding the incident. When you are RIGHT people shall fight for you.

Remember folks! keep continuing your genuine work irrespective of the results and the opinions of people. Give your best to what you're doing and keep an account of all that you're doing as well. World has become a nasty place that asks for your Life certificate though you're standing in front of it alive. So you will have to fight to get what you deserve. When you are contributing your work towards the progress of the people around you, be very sure and happy that the people around you shall fight for what you deserve.

Clarity, Definition, Transparency

When you are travelling along a highway to a far off distance its so important to have a clear idea of the path that you will traverse and also the transparency of the glass so that you can have a clear vision of the road ahead. Likewise in life its very important that we should be aware about how clear and well-defined our goals, dreams and visions are. If the driver doesn't know the exact destination and the exact path to reach the destination but only knows an approximation of where the destination is and a rough plan of road to reach the destination, even then the driver can find a route and reach the destination also but the extra time and energy spent in due course will be an extra expenditure. This extra can be small or big depending upon the lack of clarity and definition. However small it is, it is definitely going to cost the driver.

Everyone of us are sailing through the happenings of life day by day with some plan in mind. Some of them have just handed over the control to the circumstances around them and are under the misconception that fate will take care of them. I feel really sorry for such people. I would like to quote a very famous quote of Sri. Dhiru Bhai Ambani here which goes like this - "If you don't work to build your dreams, others will use you to build their's". Proabably this is the case with most of the people in today's world. That is why it is utmost essential for one to know the clear direction along which he/she wants to take his/her life in. Most of us have some plan or vision in our mind towards which we struggle day in and day out. But I want to stress upon the point about how clear and well-defined this goal is set in the mind. How clear are we about the path that will lead us to the dream in our minds? How transparent is the glass of imagination in our mind about our future? are some of the questions that I want my dear reader to think about and ponder over for an answer.

Let me make it very clear dear friends that we have a life of fixed time limit and we don't have eternal time to experiment and traverse every other path to reach our goal. Every extra minute spent and every extra thought invested on a disorganised plan is a second and a thought energy lost which could help us reach our goal earlier with an organised plan. A clearly defined vision and perfect structured plan of work can help us really save lots of time and mental energy and help us accomplish more and more. Start defining your goal and plan for future right now........
