Something for something

'Give all that you can but expect none from the others' is the slogan that people advise the disturbed souls. For the universe to be balanced, they say that for every particle there is an anti-particle. So if one person is giving away something to the other, definitely there shall be an imbalance because the giver receives nothing as per the general perception. However, the world doesn't survive if there is such an imbalance. Hence we jump into the theory of, 'for every something that is given there is always something taken as well'.

Let's take a few examples and prove this hypothetical theory. If someone gives another person some amount of money then he receives back a promise that he shall repay the amount. May be the give and take doesn't happen in equivalent form of an object but definitely in equivalent forms of feelings. The guy receiving the money is happy and the guy lending the money is happy because he knows that he will get back his money with extra interest added to it. In a class, when a teacher is teaching, she is passing on her knowledge to the students in exchange for their attention. The teacher gets attention for her teaching while the students get education for their attention. In above two examples, if the receiver would be absent i.e., either the students or the loan receiver then there would be no scope for the lender or the teacher to exist to perform their roles just like how if all planets cease to exist, the sun would have no reason to burn. So there is always a trade of something for something in this universe.

If we accept the theory of this barter that there is always that's got for something that's lost or given away, a lot of problems and worries in our life can be reduced. If a thief steals away your money, it only means that he gave back the lesson of safety to you. If a friend cheated your trust, he only gave back an experience to trust a friend carefully in future. In every possible situation, your assets remain the same. Only that, with every occurring transaction the form of your assets keeps changing. When you know that you receive something for every something that you lend out, then why worry? You can just be happy always. You can throw in your comments here.

The triangle of life

Our life is balanced on three main factors. They are time, money and health. Humans wish to lead a very well-balanced life. It's difficult to
balance a see-saw which has two sides. Then you can imagine how difficult it is to balance something that has three sides. Our life is meant to be balanced on these three important factors. Let's see further as to how these 3 fulcrums of our lives control us.

If one wishes to have a very healthy life, s/he must be ready to invest good amount of money on good nutrition and proper medication alongwith sufficient amount of time for rest and recovery. On the other hand, if one wishes to have a lot of money in life then one should be ready to sacrifice health as long as s/he can manage to survive decently with medicinally controllable ailments and also will have to invest most of the time only in earning money rather than on family or friends or recreation or even self for that matter. On the third hand, if one wishes to just have sufficient time for his/her business or family then s/he must be ready to spend enough on quick transports and take risks of life to save enough time. Only those people who can find the best balance among all these 3 controlling factors of life can lead a happy successful life. Fortunately or unfortunately not every person seeming successful to your eyes is able to accomplish the best of the balance in life and is always in the pursuit of the same.

At any point in your life if you are feeling depressed or stressed out just ask yourself as to which of these three you are missing out on? Is it money or time or health. If you can point out anyone of these immediately try to lower the other two to regain the balance of life. Your opinions do matter to me on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Every pie counts

Financial crunch is the best time to teach the value of each and every pie left in your pocket. Unfortunately today's generation has been cursed from understanding the value of each pie courtesy the pampering parents who want to provide the best life for their children. I remember this famous incident which repeated in two entirely different places. When a small kid of age around 14 was asked as to what would he do if he got hundred rupees from his father, he replied that he would party with his friends. When asked what would he do with the same hundred rupees if he earned it from his own efforts, he replied instantly that he would save it.

The value of money is known to the one who earns it by him/herself. Just think of those poor people who earn their food only by the daily wages they earn. If a day goes without work they have to go without food. They don't have the choice of choosing the tastiest food out of the umpteen choices available. They can only afford what can fill their stomach at the lowest cost. They clearly understand that every pie counts. Not just them even the people who jump into the field of business and entrepreneurship also learn the same lesson repeatedly. A job may give you the necessary income of constant flow irrespective of whether you like or dislike the work. Unfortunately 'every dream counts' is the lesson that majority of the job-goers fail to realise. However when you are in business you are the owner of your time and money and no one else is their to guide you or push you in this regard. You have to choose wisely on how you spend or invest each of the two. That is when you realise that every pie/second counts.

The lavish lifestyle shown on movies and the company of few rich brats have unfortunately spoilt the young minds who fail to recognise the value of each hard-earned pie of their parents. Some children take it for granted that parents are there only to spend on them and suffer due to this mindset when they grow up. IS THERE A SOLUTION FOR THIS?
Definitely YES!!!!!!!!!!! watch out for my next blog. Till then keep writing to me on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

you NEED it, you GET it

Life is not rosy all the time. It shows its side of thorns as well at critical junctures. Thorns are nothing but the rules and regulations that are difficult to bypass. Adding to the woes of common man there is just not enough transparency in the existing laws and legislations. Compounding these with corruption has just made the procedure to get what you need more and more difficult. There is no point accepting defeat against the giant barrier built by all these. Amidst these, we have to screw in our way to get what we need. Here I would stress on the entire 'need' rather than 'want' because a 'want' can be postponed but not a 'need'.

When you are on an endeavour which has a clear mission and a vision to impact a massive area of growth positively just be sure that you will have to deal with a majority of roadblocks as well. You will be meeting 'n' number of people from diverse backgrounds having diverse opinions. You will have to convince all of them and take their permissions and consents before proceeding further. At no point will you be allowed to skip these blocks without facing them. You are bound to the game of clearing each one of them. At such points you might be facing rejection and ridicule very often. Just don't give heed to any of them as long as your work is completed. Be persistent in convincing the opposite party to agree to your ideology. You might not even have enough finance with you which could have done the same job of convincing. Even if you have don't use it for the work of convincing which you can do yourself. This will at least save the money for a pertinent usage in the future. Keep patience and a 'never give up' attitude close to your heart which will guard it from any external comments or hits. Keep in mind  that all these intermediate obstacles are just a test for your clarity of your vision and the leadership ability in you to bring your vision into reality.

Nothing comes free of cost on this earth. Every baby struggled to stay crumbled in its mother's womb for 7 to 9 months and to come out into this world. This struggle was worth to get a chance to grow up in this amazing world. When you want something only your heart is telling it to you but when you need something both you heart and brain command you to get it. So convert all your wants into needs if you really want them, sorry, if you really need them quickly. I would definitely need everyone of yours feedback to understand and learn more on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

Learn 2 Earn; Earn 2 Learn

"What is this wonderful beauty of the language!" I keep wondering sometimes. Just add a letter to an existing word and the entire meaning changes. Use the same words repeatedly but in different order and there's a message for life. Thanks to those intuitive minds whoever created this language and helped it evolve. Coming to the topic of today "Learn 2 Earn; Earn 2 Learn" was a post on facebook a few days back but today it evolves itself as a post on my blog. Yes I am back to my work - ABAD : A Blog A Day. There were innumerable reasons for not continuing ABAD at the required pace and in this process a great learning was bestowed upon me by the Almighty and this is what this blog will be talking about.

Before starting I would like to erase the misconception off the reader's mind that earning doesn't mean only earning money. You can earn respect of the society, you can earn trust of your friends, you can earn the love of your loved ones and so on and so forth. Every feeling, thought and emotion which can make you extra stronger and more capable to face the world to pursue your aspirations is an earning in itself. People have been misguided in the current scenario of the world that only earning money will help them achieve all that they want in life. Its an apathy to know that some of the big money builders of the world are battling depression because they have lost every friend and family member in the pursuit of building the golden castle which ended up in isolation. Let's come out of this cliche created by the artificial glamour surrounding us. Its time to think back on the lines of 3G (3 Greek philosophers)- Aristotle, Plato and Socrates who passed some of the most valuable lessons for life.

Similar to the ladder of earning money in life earning name, trust, love, respect etc follow the pattern of unending repetitions of learning and implementing. We learn new things and implement them in our business or jobs to produce extra outputs which will result in extra income for us. In the same fashion learn every tiny detail of life which will help you move ahead towards your goals. Learn the way to get people interested in you, learn how to inspire your pals, learn how to walk an extra mile in adversity not just for sake of the self but for the benefit of others, learn how to shed off your ego in front of the more deserving human beings, learn the boomerang effect - "What you give is what you get", learn how to give an extra thought, extra smile, extra effort to make your surroundings more cheerful. In this process of learning you might fail 'n' number of times but I am very sure that you will succeed also 'm' number of times and these will be the times when you will be building the prosperity of life step by step in every arena of it. In this process when you earn little gifts of life you would have realised the lessons behind them. Never become complacent because life has bigger gifts in store for you. With the experience backup that you would have earned learning more will become much more easy which will definitely lead to a fulfilling life.

The moment you stop learning you stop earning as well. So make sure to keep the cycle of learning and earning; earning and learning continuing forever.

If you feel you have either learned or earned anything from this blog do post them on is.mohanbn@gmail.com
