Passion to Pressure

In today's world, everyone is mad behind one thing or the other. Someone is crazy about movies while someone is crazy about studies. One paints a lot while one writes a lot; one talks a lot while one speaks a lot. Different people carry different kinds of interests but there is always a limited set of practices that take highest priority in their lives and they go on following them. While doing so, many don't even realise as to why they started prioritizing certain kind of interests more than the others. Over a period of time such interests get converted into passions. Passions start defining a person from then onwards and build the pressure to perform each time.

It's not difficult to develop passion towards something. It happens naturally for every human being. Unfortunately some of the people get into wrong notions of passions and also wrong passions that don't lead them to good progress in life. No matter whether the passion is good or bad, it encompasses us as we spend more amount of time with it. Gradually we start living just to pursue our passions. Passions become the leader of our lives. Passion is what gets us an identity and we wouldn't like to lose respect that's once earned. As a result, performing our passions on a regular basis becomes more of a necessity than responsibility or vested interest. This builds pressure on an individual to perform well each time the audience expects him to do so. This pressure convinces any depressed soul on this planet to launch himself back on the stage and show what he became famous for. This is positive pressure. Pressure is very much required on all of us to perform to our peak levels. Without pressure no one ever gives his/her best. Coal lying under the pressure of the earth's crust for thousands of years finally converts into precious stones called as diamonds. Likewise the passion pressurizes us to work hard to live up to the status of the passion. Under this pressure we become those diamonds which start glittering and emitting light in the form of our passion.

Each one of us is talented in one or the other way for sure. All that we have to do is to explore our hidden treasures in ourselves. The world out there is waiting to see what you have in store for it. People who lack opportunities and resources behold a dream in their eyes that you have the ability to give them freedom from their apathy. You have the responsibility of this universe to make it better. Discover your passion by trying out all that you can get your hands on. You need to search through a million pebbles to find the real pearl. Once you find it, it shall rule your life from then onwards to take it to the best extent possible.

Lack is Luck

Necessity is the mother of all inventions. This is an adage that has stood true till date and will remain true forever. Whenever the human mind has felt a lack of something that has always set a process of thoughts to run in order to solve the lacking. Today no one has to invent a pen because it already exists. When there was a need for a device that could be used to write on paper and which could be used again and again just by refilling, man invented the pen. Not just with invention of materialistic things, lack plays a very important role in the discovery of the self as well.

I remember one of the interviews of Shah Rukh Khan where he had mentioned that he was afraid of being poor and hence he worked very hard to become rich and famous. You would have read or heard many such similar stories where in some people would have felt a strong desire for having something in their childhood but due to the lack of resources they or their family couldn't afford what they wanted. This lacking fills in a very strong motivating factor in them to work towards earning what they wanted. In this process man learns the different difficult lessons of life. Life is like a game of different levels. More the levels we want to grow through, more the challenges and more the problems to be solved, more the lessons to be learned and skills to be developed. Only when a person feels a dire lacking of something that he needs or desires does he develop the spirit of working. Today's younger generation has been pampered with all that it asks for by the loving parents while the same parents are worrying as to why their kids are becoming lazy and obese day by day. When a kid is getting all that it wants without even working for it just by asking it's parents, why in the blue sky would it search for a reason to work? Some lessons of life have to be learned the hard way but seldom the blind love of parents allows them to realise this.

Motivation or inspiration can only be passed through words but the sources of these lies in the lack of basic and dreamed necessities of human mind. Harder you work, luckier you get. Harder the situation, harder you'll work. Hence I came up with this blog 'lack is luck'. At that time of lack, one might feel sad but that will be the trigger that will make one develop to the position that he/she will deserve what one lacked before. Eager to know your feedback on

The Right Time

Knowledge is in abundance around us. Lessons are in million numbers. Theories and agendas are running pages together in books lying in the libraries. Immemse wisdom circulates through the brains of highly intellectual people whom we are surrounded with. Stories of rags to riches and solutions for all problems in the world are printed and picturised in movies. Yet not even a single person on this earth knows every lesson of life or every solution to a problem. The reason is not just because the information world is vast. The reason is also that the discovery of a solution happens only when the person faces the problem.

'Necessity is the mother of all inventions'. This quote is so famous that even a school going child knows this. The reason for every invention that has happened was the necessity of it that demanded the invention to happen. Bringing this concept at the individualistic level, everyone of us learn new lessons and find solutions to problems only when we require it. It all happens at the right time. Sometimes we feel that we know the answers for certain questions posed by life but later we realise how cliched our answers were when we really face these questions in life. Very few among us actually put an effort to learn solutions even before the problem occurs. Most of us search for solutions only when the problem occurs. Probably this is the law of nature as the first statement of this paragraph says. I am not inclined towards whether you find the solution before or at the time of the problem because I believe in either case solution works only when the problem occurs. Therefore I am fine as long as you find the solution.

Its always necessary as human beings that we grow in our wisdom and intellect day by day. But we know that this growth happens only when we start learning new lessons and solutions to new problems. New questions and problems arise only when you start venturing into new activities and new information. Hence I would recommend my dear reader to expand your horizons of learning and increase your areas of interest so that you get a chance to learn as much as possible and also exercise your skills in every direction because we know that the learning will happen at the right time when you encounter the situation that demands.
