Never give up until you finish

Unfinished work is an indication of winnerless attitude. When any work is started there is already a lot of work that would have initiated the start of the process. Once started additional time, energy, resources and efforts would have been invested in the work. No doubt that whenever any new work begins there is an initial excitement but later due to the repetition and routine kind of work, motivation subsides and people give up in between. The loss is just not in the incompletion of the present work, the loss is also undoing of some other better work that could have been completed. An incomplete work takes away time-space from this universe that could have been invested on some other work otherwise. The worst part is that it wastes the time-space after taking it away from a fruitful work. Hence mark your target towards completions always.

Whenever any work is started, definitely there is a picture of the target in the mind. Make sure that you pin this target really serious in your mind and tell yourself that you cannot stop until you finish it. Motivation will definitely subside due to the longtime involvement in the same kind of work. Repetition and routine type of work will take away the interest from continuing the work. At all such times, just remind yourself about the double disadvantages of an unfinished work. The third disadvantage is that it sets a frame of mind to leave work incomplete in future as well which is the worst that can happen to hamper the progress of any individual but an attitude of completing everything shall always build the repute of reliability in the eyes of others. A half-filled glass is always half-filled no matter how much ever optimistic one is.

Will have to make it happen

Just a few seconds back while I was thinking of a topic for today's blog and was chatting with one of my colleagues, she was telling about all the meetings that she had lined up from november 15th onwards for a mega IUnewspaperbag campaign of making 1,00,000 newspaper bags on Novemeber 20th,2012 on the occassion of International Children's Day. She has voluteered to be the Chief Volunteering Head for this humungous project taken up by Inspiration Unlimited. I was really inspired to talk to this young lady by name Beena Chowdary who is pursuing her graduation in Law in one of the finest institutes of India. When I asked her as to how would she manage her studies with this busy schedule for the newspaperbag project, she just replied "will have to make it happen".

What a wonderful attitude to see in youngsters today! She has complete belief in the work of hers and is sure to manage all commitments simultaneously, the reason being she respects every commitment. We have seen 'n' number of people around us who are just trying to find an excuse to escape from their commitment on many occassions. Probably I have no rights to blame anyone of them and I accept the same as well. If one is not involved in multiple commitments then what's the fun in living a limited life catering to just one particular work from 9 to 5? LIFE itself means Learn In the Form of Experience. If a person is not engaged in multiple tasks then how will s/he be able to gain multiple experiences? Repeating the same experience everyday definitely doesn't give the same enthusiasm of a new experience. If you are not fulfilling the bucket of diverse experiences then where's the question of living and loving a holistic life?

So, friends! don't fear from taking up new commitments. Blunders and mistakes are bound to happen and that is exactly called as experience. But make sure of one thing that you will carry the attitude of Beena Chowdary and that is, 'will have to make it happen'. This attitude alone shall clear all the roadblocks and build a proud past for you. Do let me know if even you are interested in participating in the newspaperbag project on november 20th on is.mohanbn@gmail.com

How does LOVE happen?

I am sure that you have had this question in your mind at one or the other points of your life. If not, you will have it right now as you continue reading this blog. Life is filled with so many emotions and feelings but no doubt that LOVE takes the highest priority among all these. Love is the feeling that bonds any relationship stronger. However in this blog I would love to dwelve into the topic of love that happens between two human beings which is not related to any blood-line, probably that tingling feeling that you have in your stomach when you catch a sight of the special someone.

Movies have glamourised this love to an extent that the same concept of love keeps taking different forms in every new movie and they are afraid to showcase the same type of love which has become very stereotypical. No doubt that many of us are influenced with movies and most of us end up our conclusions based on such movie-type of love. Does love happen when a boy sees a beautiful girl in the bus stand? So was it beauty that attracted love! Does love happen when a girl sees a brave boy fighting off the goons? Was it the bravery and fighting skills that attracted love! Does love happen when a colleague helps out the other in office work? Helping selected colleagues lead to love! Does love happen when a girl is impressed with singing/dancing/speaking or any other skills of the boy? So, special extra-curricular skills were the reason for the birth of love! Does love happen when people are married through a arranged marriage? If you don't love after marriage there is no other option, right! Does love happen when a guy satisfies every desire of a girl? Fulfilling desires was the way to love! Does love happen when the person goes to the extent of sacrificing life for the sake of love? Sacrificing life for love, impressive but is it practical?

Probably this is one of the very few blogs where I am not conveying any message of mine. These are some of the questions that keep running on my mind and I am damn sure that many of you also have this in mind. Love is a feeling that everyone desires to feel at the earliest point in life but the only issue is that not even a single person knows as to how love happens. All the best to you if you are awaiting for such a experience. You can wish me as well on
